Greetings, my Republicans.

It has been a busy couple of months for the New Republic and her citizens - I will do my best so summarize everything that has happened.

First, I would like to start with the state of the Great Build - Since the project's inception, we have made great strides towards our goal of breaking even with monthly income and I am happy to say that while we are not wholely even with each month, we made a lot of progress towards that goal. While work is to continue for the forseeable future, I am going to be reviewing the restrictions placed on production and resources at the beginning of this project in order to determine if we can lift these restrictions or whether they need to remain for a little while longer.

For reference, this post talks about the start of the project and the restrictions placed on production.

While we intend to reduce the break-neck pace that we have been building at, this project is going to continue with a reduced workforce.

Due to the number of Republicans we have had working on this project, I have had to consider a different approach to rewarding effort - I'm going to be issuing battlegroup commanders and company leaders discretion to award partipation directly, rather than having to wait for these addresses - I will be in talks with department leaders to properly release these rewards with the coming weeks. Again, I would like to congratulate everyone that has made this project a reality...the amount of work put into building up our assets within the last few months has been fantastic.

A few weeks ago, I announced that Gamba Jaboli of the Octagon League had been captured by a bounty hunter claiming to be a member of some allied factions - I am pleased to announce that this has been resolved by some concerned Sentients and that Gamba has been returned to us.

Despite this good news, I advise that everyone be careful in their dealings with Azoths Hailey in the future. He claimed to be a part of NR and later Nova Industries - while these were later confirmed to be lies on his part, he should still be considered a dangerous individual and not someone to be trusted. Any questions or concerns can be directed towards Damon Phet, the Director of NRI

I would also like to announce a change in leadership within Republic Diplomacy Command - For a while now, Andrew Harris has been the cornerstone and driving force behind RDC and it's many accomplishments. He has opted to step back from the High Ambassador position to allow another to step up and dedicate the intense amount of time required for the position. Before Andrew does step down, I would like to present him with the Hydian Star of Excellence for his hard work and loyalty over the years - He has more than earned praise for his actions and I hope he enjoys the rest.

Taking over for him will be Biffis Maximus - I am certain that he is up to the task and the gap left by Andrew's departure. I would like to wish him all the best in his new position, and I'm sure that he will adapt quickly to his new surroundings.

In construction and destruction related news, Sanka Ceveri has agreed to step up as leader of Kerdos in order to replace Dan Russ as CEO - I still have faith in Dan's abilities and I would like to thank him for his work in restoring Kerdos thus far, along with Het "Patches" Patchateeka. Thanks to their recent efforts, Kerdos is flourishing with new life and fresh activity that is both reassuring and a joy to watch.

As part of the drive to improve the Ministry of Natural Resources, Jim Frost has stepped aside from the leadership of Juganoth Mining Corporation and left command with Owyn Darklighter, a long standing associate director of extractions - I have every faith in both Jim and Owyn and I trust them to keep our mining interests flourishing.

In another vein of good news and fresh developments, I am also proud to announce that the Republic News Network (RNN for short) has been revamped and given a new lease of life, found here - This is intended to act as a dedicated news service to bring up to date news on the daily happenings of the New Republic, rather than having to wait for long addresses such as this. If anyone has any interest in contributing to tbe RNN service, they should contact the Editor-in-chief, Gryffyn Grayurra.

In recognition of the hard work put into this project, I would like to award everyone involved with the Community award for providing us with a means to have a proper news service.

Last, but certainly not least, news on the Galactic Alliance front. It should come as no surprise to anyone that we need to work on communicating with our allies - we have been lax in the last couple months and I'm content to say that we have began to rectify this. As part of our alliance with both the Freedom warriors and the Exiles, we have been involved in operations recently to help secure systems they have discovered with a great amount of success - this is part of a greater determination to help restore the Galactic Alliance to where it should be.

Long Live the Republic!
