State of the Republic - Year 15 Day 5

Greetings New Republic Citizens!

As my time as Chief of State comes to an end and the New Republic Chief of State elections coming to close I wanted to say a few closing remarks in the and recognize several individuals for their services in my last SotR address.

Minister of State Zen has a few words to start out the address.

Greetings Citizens, we have a few awards to hand out today.

First I’ll start with an award to David Archer. David is awarded the Governor's Citation for his dedication in operations in the Gevarno Cluster.

David Archer along with Biffis Maximus and Izec McCrimmon are awarded the Master Builder Award for their work on the Callos and Gevarno Cluster systems.

Vor Kaln was awarded the Master Builders Award for construction efforts in Uogo`cor. He worked in Uogo`cor II almost by himself and in record speed.

Next, Het Patchateeka is awarded the Selfless Service and Sacrifice Award for the rescue efforts of one of our Citizens off one of the Galactic Empire’s planets. In addition, we would like to give recognition to Het for his efforts within ARGH to improve the community.

Jahu Skyla and Jim Frost have both dedicated their services for a lenthy time period to their Nationalised Factions, so they are both awarded the Long Standing Meritorious Service Award.

Aarm Kildarn was awarded the Ord Ibana Achievement Award for his extreme dedication to assignments, their planning and execution which are not limited only to production.

Finally we have Elswayn Nyawsle , who was also awarded the Ord Ibana Achievement for his excellent performance constructing.

Next High Ambassador Harris addresses the Citizens of the New Republic.
Fellow New Republican’s, I would like to award both Gryffyn Grayurra and Qui-Gon Gwynne with the High Ambassador’s Citation for their service in the Republic Diplomacy Command.

Speaker of the Senate, Senator Dan Russ addressess the Citizens.
Fellow New Republican's, the Senate has passed the admendment "Memorial Week Declaration", a memorial to remember and honour those Killed in Action, in service to the New Republic. The memorial known as "Memorial Week" will last seven days, beginning on Day 92 and ending on Day 98 - Restoration Day.

Chief of Military Operations Achilles begins to speak.
Greetings New Republic Citizens. As you may of recently noticed Admiral Helix Falks has recently been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Naval Command. We look forward to working with him in the Military High Command.

I would also like to recognize Leebri Chelski for his efforts in Recruitment. Without the recruiting efforts we would not be able to expand our ranks to the degree that Recruitment offers.

We also have a quick update as to the status of the Great Build project. Currently we are making 200 million more than before we started the project. Progress has been a little slower than initially expected but we are overall making progress. Over the last month we have gained 800 new FI facilities. We expect the next report will show a positive increase with some of the tax rate changes. We thank everyone for their continued efforts.

Chief of State Narvaka closes out the SotR address. Before I close out this SotR address, I like to take a moment for us to reflect on the recent loss of Naval Captain Kayllin Laws. He was a devoted Officer and a friend to many. He was dedicated to enriching our community through ARGH. For all of Kayllin’s efforts, we would like to award Kayllin with the Ingenuity Award and the Meritorious Service Medal. May we take a moment reflect on past memories how he's enriched the New Republic.

Former director of NRI Kara DuMonte would also like to award to Wedge Achilles the Director's citation before taking over the reins as Chief of State.

Thanks to Orion Chran for writing this State of the Republic for me while I was still too busy all around. This is my last speech as a New Republic official. As you all know, I will now retire from all my position within the New Republic, but will remain within the Medical Circle and thus the New Republic's realms. It was an honor to serve with all of you and thank you everyone for all your help throughout the years. As I write these words, the bells of retirement are ringing and I will be logging on the NR holonet to discuss with the new elected Chief of State to hand her the keys.
