(This address was held on Day 211 in Year 11 by several members of the Advisory Council )

As you turn on your holoscreen you see a shiny and imposing logo of the New Republic. A few seconds later the image of two humans appear on the screen. Both are checking their notes, waiting for the other to start talking. The two figures are the New Republic Ministers Taka Aioko, from Technology & Industry and Andre Gualdieri, from Economic Development. In the back you see 3 military figures, standing still, eyes on the crowd of reporters; they are High Marshal Dan Russ, High Admiral Josh Jericho and High General Wolfgang Nospe. The event is being broadcasted to every corner of the galaxy, and a special holotransmitor is installed on the CoS Mon Calamari MC-80b, from where Aves Sunfell will do his speech.

As Taka pushes Andre forward, the miner has no other option than to start: " Good evening my fellow brothers and sisters of the New Republic. Minister Aioko, and I are here today, in the Denab System, inside the pressroom of Cordalf Civic Centre to inform you all with the current state of our beloved Republic. We are here to oversee the preparations to the construction of a new population center. In a few months the planet Argecelebrant will receive hundreds of New Repubicans engineers, workers and haulers, that will work hard to construct the infrastructure to encourage the population growth and the creation of new business. All the jobs that will be created here will generate more taxes to be reinvested on our government. I'm sure Minister Aioko will add more important details.

Speaking for the Ministry of Economic Development, I must highlight the construction of our new South Sales Depot, that is being constructed in the Darglum System. This new depot is being built with the best technology and know-how of Raw Material mining, hauling and storage. Its unique design and managing system are a revolution on the history of mining. We will have a self-service depot for BFF-1-sized orders, on a space station in the planet's orbit and a traditional ground depot on a strategic city on the surface. We are being careful to encourage the population growth, by allowing religious groups to build their temples and entertainment groups to offer casino services, taverns, etc, and by bringing a strong security force, to reduce crime to the lowest level on JMC history. ALl this measures will allow JUGANOTH Mining Corp to work faster and have orders finished in only a couple of days. The next projects of the Ministry will be presented soon on our public broadcast.

Now, I want to distribute a few awards to our hard working members! First, I want to congratulate Gido Goodheart and Cruz Skyff for their hard work on keeping our Sullust depot on the highest level ever. Congratulations guys! Here is the Bronze Miner's Award. Wear it with pride, gentlemen! I want to award Are Anglarius, from Internal Team with the Silver Miner's Award, for his dedication and suggestions that are making the Darglum Depot come true! Terrific work, my friend!

I also have another Silver Miner's Award for Nuramor Dragonel, the tireless Garos Team Leader who is doing a brilliant job renewing our North Depot, by finding new deposits and building new mining complexes! Keep it up, Nura! We are proud of you! I want to award Morden Veritas with the Gold Miner's Award for his dedication on managing and solving all the problems regardin the Sullust Depot, offering a top class service to our customers! I want to annouce as well that with Sketin Pileo's resignation, Morden is being promoted to Associate Minister of Extraction (South), drinks are on him! But be quick before he drinks it all!

Last but not least, I have in my hands two more medals. The first one, the Outstanding Excellence Award goes to Twiggy Samp, for doing his job and for covering for our Sector Director and North Associate Minister during their LOAs. It's redundant to say you are competent. Thank you for all what you are doing for JMC and NR! The second one is the Leadership Award, wich goes to Morden Veritas for inspiring and guiding his team like a Maestro. Well, Sluis Team does work like a symphony orchestra. I guess that's all from MoED. Thank you all."

The Chief of Starfighter Command steps forward, nods congenially to his Civil Service colleagues and then addresses the camera.

"'We don't have too much to report with regard to SFC this time around although we have felt very deeply the loss of a few of our fellow pilots. The battle groups are currently conducting a review of all SFC officers with the intention of filling vacant command positions and continuing the high levels of service that you have come to expect of them. Thankfully those that left have not gone very far and I am sure that we will be working with them again, in some capacity, very soon.

"From the beginning of July we will be making a change to the rank titles that SFC use. That won't affect anyone, necessarily, but I just wanted you to be aware so that you are not confused when you see the new titles in use. Details will be posted as close to the start of the month as possible."

High Marshal Russ then gives a curt bow to the Chief of State and steps to the rear.

The Minister Aioko steps forward

Thanks Andre. It's true, here we are in the planet with the long name, designing a new plan to overcome this galactic economic crisis. I admit that we lost a bit less than half our income and I won't say this isn't a rough moment, but once we finish this Tax Planet we'll be pretty much back on track. In the meantime we should be okay, as long as Lahasa and you Andre keep a strict diet.

As we can see in this holo, the planet looks pretty much like huge yellow spot spinning around. Anyways, right now Desto Drake and his crew are in their way to start building a ShipYard 4 on it's orbit, and while this station is under construction, we need everybody focused in City Decay Op, we still have around 1,800 empty cities that need a fountain.

1,800 does sound like a big figure, but it's very doable. Really, after the effort and success that was Pop Op, where we took care of 250 planets, I think that if we all work together again, there's nothing we can't do. And once we are done with it, we can look at each other and feel proud to be part of the New Republic... aaand then back to work into the Tax Planet. Yes, that's the main plan, plain and simple.

But well, this is not the only thing that's been happening in the New Republic, for example the Rebel Alliance has successfully moved to the Omwat system. I don't know about you Andre, but I'm really glad to see them with a steady progress under Bara Fur, we've discussed about what to do with that group endless times in the past.

Before I forget, I want to thank our peers from the Falleen Federation and Ailon Nova Guard, especially Xias and Troon Kebris, for helping us securing Peleglas and Geedo VII. Our allies came to our aid with many people, making the operation a huge success in Sumitra. We got the same output in Xappyh, but this time it was thanks to the work of Elubei, Raven Morrow, Vonar and Nar. Braldapiryn and Galgorn planet are now secure too. As you can remember these are the planets that we accepted to protect after Keer was attacked a few weeks ago.

I also wanna thank the team at Incom Corporation, which got us a bunch of new bulk freighters for the New Republic, raising our fleet a 50% over its existing number for that type of ship. It was really heroic. Also thanks to Ubrikkian for producing over 150 ambulances for our divisions, I think they're gonna be very useful in the future.

I'd like to thank everybody for their hard work, I know many of you break their backs for the New Republic, these are the list of awards for Trade and Industry for those who excelled at it:

The Chief of Naval Command steps forward,

"As many know, with the retirement of Admiral Lukas, the position of Deputy Chief of Naval Command has been left vacant. We don't have very many candidates for the position, but the candidates we do have are all excellent officers. After much thought, I would like to announce the new DCNC will be Commodore Draven Elensar, with the promotion that goes with it. Congratulations, Admiral Elensar."

After the High Admiral steps aside, High General Nospe nods respectfully to him and approaches the podium.

"Over the last few months there have been many Army projects in the works. Thanks to our friends in a few of our Nationalized Factions we have continued to expand our reserves for our mechanized and air support units. We have also added to our supplies of infantry equipment. I am happy to report that the army is well prepared to take on any threat to the New Republic and its citizens. Thank you."

Steps away from the podium and returns to his spot in line.

Finally the Chief of State steps forward

My fellow New Republicans,

I apologize for not being able to give this State of the Republic address myself but I have been stuck in the Northern quadrant. I thank Minister Aioko and Gualdieri for putting together this month's address in my stead.

We have had trying times these past two months, with several of our numbers leaving the NR due to discontent between members. To this I think Minister Gualdieri addressed it very accurately in his address of a few weeks ago. I have seen a few pointing fingers to others to try to explain why this or that occurred. Fact is, we need to pull together. There is no such thing as an ex-RA or ex-SSC officer, nor should it be used to brand people. We are all part of the New Republic. We merge together a few years ago to be on better fighting terms against the Empire. This is our fight and always has been. It is time to stop fighting amongst ourselves and bring that fight to our true enemies, the Empire and its supporters.

I know we can pull it off as I have seen it times and times again. We are part of the same team. So let us act like one and prevail.

In closing, I have one award to issue that I feel is long overdue. The person I want to award has been tirelessly leading her faction for years now, hitting and overcoming barriers thrown in her way and by my calculations, has been our longest serving NAT leader in the NR. This person is Chali Desdra and for all her hard work and commitment to getting the job done, I award her with the Hydian Star of Excellence. Congratulations Chali and hope to have you for longer still.

I have been also asked by Minister Zen to pass on the Recruitment Award to Kodo Min`Sol for his outstanding work in recruitment.
Recruitment Award

Thank you for your time and long live the New Republic!
