Greetings my fellow Republicans,

This month has been a difficult one, but one that we leave in a better place than when we entered it. We have had some turn over in AC positions, but the leadership of the New Republic is stronger than it has been at any point during my term so far. While my term only lasts three more months, we have the opportunity to make them the best ones yet.

As most of you have seen, Azzi Blackgate has moved on to the position of Director of CRI, and we all look forward to what he will be able to do there. As seen here he has already started new policies by naming two new public CRI officers, Evan Traner and Vonar Passik. Deputy Director Stone will be staying on as DDCRI, bringing the total up to four public officers! This should provide more ways for you to interact with CRI, and provide them with important intelligence tips. Remember, the best way to keep the NR safe is by your vigilance in reporting suspect situations.

After discussion in the Advisory council it was a unanimous decision to go with Vol Kamo as the next high ambassador. Vol has done excellent work over the past several months in RDC, and has already brought several new ideas (as well as a good deal of his famous energy) to the advisory council. I have received several messages from foreign diplomats who wanted to congratulate me on picking an excellent ambassador, and that is about as high praise as I can give to ambassador Kamo. If you want to be apart of one of the New Republics greatest weapons in the war against the empire, send Vol an application and he will give you a fair look.

Over past year we have been posting periodic updates on our newest tax planet at Belecalaryn. After months of grueling work by our ministry of culture (with much outside help) the planet should be finished this month! This is a great triumph for our ministry of culture and brings us much closer to regaining Galactic Government Status. Special thanks goes out to Gojin Zen for his tireless work on the project, despite moving on from the minister of culture position. Gojin has been the brains behind the NR tax-planet machine for years, and we are VERY lucky to have him. So everyone buy him a drink aye?

On the military front I am happy to announce that the army's HQ project is progressing nicely. We also have the pleasure of seeing Mazzic Cron and Gatsu Armani being promoted to the rank of Brigadier General. This is the first time in nearly half a decade we have had such a large and strong core of army leadership. On a slightly more aloof note, we are all gearing up for Wolfgangs bachelor party. Our gruff old general has finally decided to take the plunge, and is engaged to Keeya! On the naval front our academic courses are progressing nicely, and we expect cadets to be better prepared than ever before.

However, Wolfgang's bachelor party is not the biggest shindig we have going on around here. I'm not sure if anyone told you, but September is the month of awards! The first of many goes out to Aeternal Conclave. While I expect a more formal announcement shortly, he should at the very least be mentioned for his great contributions to the New Republic. He is a man who has lead a nationalized faction, lead a BG's Army division, and served as a senator since the creation of the Republic. While he has let these duties pass on to focus on his role as a governor, we want to thank him for all of his hard work!

Anyone in the civil sector knows how CTS is like our own personal giving tree of skilled leaders. Over the past year they have always been willing to send people to factions to help keep them afloat, often at the expense of those members (who end up getting offered leadership positions due to their excellent skills). CTS has done so with little complaining and much generosity. It is time that we collectively said THANK YOU! Without CTS many of our Nationalized factions would have been hard pressed to survive until the mergers occurred. With that in mind, I have several awards to hand out. Starting with the Outstanding Excellence Award:

Outstanding Excellence Award

Endaro Kassan
Kjily Xantor
Braa Ohk`ba
Luuda Kusaak
Johnny Moon
Seth Nearv
Ezekial Nien
Nar Thalion
John Snake
Loci Lutdze

Radon Thek

Additionally, I am awarding Van Harrad, Chali Dresda, and Vonar Passik with the Leadership Award. Van has shown consistent and excellent leadership skills over the years at CTS, and is one of the few sentients I have ever me who could handle that bunch of yahoo. Moving away from CTS, Vonar has shown extraordinary talent with CRI and the Justice Department, in addition to his SFC duties and his work at the academy. Chali has worked exceptionally hard to keep our recycling company going strong. She is in one of the most difficult positions in the Republic, and yet has served as one of our longest standing Nat leaders. That being said, she deserves some recognition.

We also have some Executives Citation's to award to the following beings for outstanding work in their BG, their commanders have nominated them for the EC award. It was my pleasure to award it to them, keep up the excellent work!

Executive's Citation

Rufus Valens
Baniss Zamasee
Troucei Laruse

Lastly, it is my pleasure to award the Hydian Star of Excellence to Taka Aiko.

Hydian Star of Excellence

For months now Taka has been our resident Jack of all trades, the guy who we turned to when we lost a leader, or needed someone to help jump start a faction. He has responded to all of his roles with excellence and a great attitude, and without him we would not be in nearly as good shape as we are today. Everyone buy him a drink!

Thank you for all of your support, and Long Live the Republic!
