Fellow citizens of the New Republic, we have come a long way in the last three months. As the celebration of Restoration Day continues, I am elated to report that the State of the Republic is strong.

I have spoken to High General Edyn Solers and he has reported to me that the Army is currently undergoing intensive training to prepare for the coming hostilities with the Imperial Remnant. This training includes mock combat, weapon and item testing, and other various maneuvers. All members of Army command are currently participating.

I have also received a report that all Battlegroups have now been equipped with enough A-wings that almost the entire Wing could fly them at once if needed. Production on the B-wings is also well underway and once they are complete, we will have completely and overwhelmingly recovered from the coup staged by Flynn and Vailis.

The shipyard complex at Akrit`tar has just been recently completed and raw materials are being moved to them to start ship production. Construction on the tax planet Akrit`tar is approximately 85% complete. Mining at both Sullust and Akrit`tar has been expanded greatly to match the demand of our economic and military expansion. I also understand that weapons and item production capacity has been increased.

Diplomatically, we have provided support to the Jedi Academy in terms of logistics and technology. RDC has handled requests from foreign entities including asset acquisition, datacard usage, and mediation. In addition to providing expertise to the Senate, RDC has also been working closely with our allies in both the political and military fields.

I would like to at this time recognize several of our citizens. During the emergency fighter production, Lt. Commander Nat Dues and Captain Lance Nightsky were instrumental in organizing and ensuring the timely production of our fighters. Lt. Commander Dues has already been awarded the Leadership Award for his efforts and I am awarding Captain Nightsky the Outstanding Excellence Award. I am also awarding Lt. Commander (ret.) Chon Largo of Juganoth Mining the Outstanding Excellence Award for his tireless service at Republica stockpiling raw materials. I am pleased to also announce the promotion of Johnny Moon to C-3 as he has taken over the duties of the late Kit Lorcan as head of CTS. The tragic death of Kit Lorcan hit us all hard and I am hereby posthumously bestowing upon him the Rimma Star of Service.

In conclusion, I held off on posting this address for a week so that I could also announce that campaigning for the next Senate elections is now open. I would like to encourage everyone that is eligible to run for a Senate spot and feel that they have the time to participate to run in this election. Be a part of your government and make a difference. Voting will begin on Day 131 and finish on Day 138. Good luck to all.

Long Live the New Republic!
