Fellow citizens, I stand before you today to report that the State of the New Republic is strong. We are continuing to move forward in our endeavours to bring peace and justice to our galaxy.

Production of our military hardware is still going full tilt. We had some minor issues during the shakedown period on the X-wings, but that should be resolved now and we are well into the production on the A-wings. The engineering issue we had with our Battle tanks has also been resolved and construction on those is well underway. I am extremely pleased to report that we have started construction on enough Mon Calamari Battle Cruisers that our capital ship strength will effectively be quadrupled compared to six months ago.

Our construction departments are hard at work finalizing the plans to build more shipyards to increase the production capabilities of not only our military ships, but also freighters. We are strengthening our economic alliances with other groups and have acquired usage of both Tabder and Modular Star Hauler datacards. We should be starting construction on these in the very near future.

Diplomatically, several out of date Non-Aggressive Pacts have been updated by RDC. Under the Senate approved budget, RDC has provided much needed aide to some of our closest allies. We also now have the most up to date IFF list that we have had in a while. With the constantly changing political environment of the galaxy, this is quite an accomplishment. Kudos go to the members of RDC. In addition to these diplomatic accomplishments, several Advisory Council members and I are currently attending a diplomatic conference with leaders of other governments and groups hosted by the Falleen Federation evaluating the possibility of greatly expanding and defining the Galactic Alliance.

I want to publicly congratulate the officers and command staff of Endeavour, the most recently formed Battlegroup. Endeavour, has not only made great strides in catching up to the other Battlegroups in regards to numbers, but as reported by the Chief of Military Operations, they are, growing into a worthy equal to the other established BGs's. Keep up the good work.

Last month, I reported that we were slowly retaking control of our planets in the Calaron sector that were lost after the betrayal of the leader of RMC. I am overjoyed to announce that those lost planets are now firmly back in our hands. The climax was the retaking of Farryn from the Galactic Empire. I am hoping that the commendations for the officers that were involved will be ready to be announced next month.

Long Live the New Republic!
