1. Training, teaching and use of Dark Side Powers within the New Republic, its service and borders or as a member of the New Republic is forbidden.

2. Force Sensitive beings in the New Republic have, due to their special abilities, the responsibility of supporting the New Republican Security - specifically the New Republic Intelligence Service - in maintaining and preserving this Act of the Senate.

3. Violation of any article of this act is a punishable offense and violations of it are to be trialed as nothing less than a Class II offense.
