Article One: General Provisions:

1.1. The Supreme Commander appoints one of the Advisory Council members as the Deputy Supreme Commander.
1.1.1. The Supreme Commander's Advisory Council (AC) members are those defined in from 2.3.2. to 2.3.5. in the Charter.

1.2. The Supreme Commander retains the authority to replace the Deputy Supreme Commander with another member of the Advisory Council at any time.

1.2. In the event that the Supreme Commander is removed from office, resigns, passes away while in office, or is voted out of office through a no-confidence vote, the Deputy Supreme Commander shall assume responsibility for overseeing elections and serve as the acting Supreme Commander.
1.2.1. If the appointed Deputy Supreme Commander is unavailable or has also been removed from office, resigned or passed away, an acting Supreme Commander will be chosen by the Rebel Alliance Council (members defined in 2.3.3. to 2.3.7 of the Charter, as 2.3.1. and 2.3.2. will be vacant).

1.3. A comprehensive election will be promptly organized as per Article Two and Three of this Act, allowing the acting Supreme Commander, who assumes temporary leadership on behalf of the Rebel Alliance Council and Advisory Council, to participate and stand as any other eligible citizen would.

Article Two: Electability:

2.1. The minimum requirement to run for Supreme Commander is to have served two (2) years in the Rebel Alliance and at least one (1) year as a member of the Rebel Leadership Council or voting member in the Rebel Alliance Council.
2.1.1. The candidate must not have been convicted of a Criminal Class I to III offense in the last five (5) years from the day the campaign starts.

2.2. The Supreme Commander is a lifetime office, democratically elected if the office has been vacant, and will exercise their powers as defined in Article 1 of the Charter.
2.2.1. The Supreme Commander must join the Faction Advisory Panel (FAP) upon being elected.

2.3. Additional elected offices may conform to the provisions of this law and adapt to their specific circumstances through a regulation or decree issued by the Supreme Commander.

Article Three: Campaign:

3.1. During the official campaigning period, every eligible candidate may post a Campaign thread in the reserved area in RACC to present their candidacy and a Question and Answer thread in which citizens can ask the candidate questions.

3.2. The campaign will last for seven (7) days, and an additional seven (7) days may be added by the request of any of the AC members with the approval of RAC.
3.2.1. In the absence of candidates, an emergency election may be called, and both AC and RAC members will elect the new Supreme Commander for a one (1) year mandate within their own members. After this period, a new election may take place.

3.3. The voting will last for five (5) days.
3.3.1. If there are more than three (3) candidates, one candidate is required to receive more than 50% of votes to be elected directly; otherwise, a second round with the two best-voted candidates is required.
3.3.2. The second round will last for three (3) days, and the candidate with the most votes will be elected Supreme Commander for a lifetime term.
