Part of the Academy fleet, this ship was used by the Rebel Alliance for training of the Navy cadets. Around Year 8 Day 90, a RA cadet (the Wookiee Garco Dafor) tried to steal the Dopey. The RA cadet was eventually arrested and tried. Reportedly, the cadet was assigned an element of two Y-Wings and the capital ship to carry out some practical training, but when he boarded the Dreadnaught he decided to jump into hyper for an unknown destination. The Rebel Intelligence discovered his location and dispatched the nearest Alliance officer, Keyan Kobylarz. In keeping with Alliance standards of efficient military operation, officer Kobylarz was able to apprehend the errant cadet and regain control of the Dreadnaught on Day 95. The medical staff of the prison diagnosed an excessive, reasoning-blinding thirst of revenge against the Empire following the massacre of Kashyyyk that the cadet narrowly escaped. He underwent a psychiatric therapy but it was discontinued since he had become very violent and aggressive towards the staff. Cadet Dafor was arrested again and moved elsewhere. A knife was found hidden under his fur. The NRA Dopey was returned to the military headquarters and has continued its purpose until she was assigned to the Museum.
