Satellites

The word satellite indicates an object in orbit of another object, typically a planet. Before any technological development satellites were exclusively natural: they were normally called moons. With the development of technology, however, the meaning has extended to encompass what we call today artificial satellites. These devices are used for communications, weather monitoring and forecasts, spying.
