Bio
Bara Fur began his interstellar career as a pilot for Sorosuub Corporation, spending much of his first year transporting materials for ship construction and quietly observing the transitional process during the merger of Sorosuub and the Rebel Alliance to form the glorious New Republic. Soon after the coup, in which many ships were stolen, Bara earned the Master Builder Award for his work in helping to rebuild the New Republic's arsenal of A-Wings, X-Wings, and B-Wings.
Aching to better exercise his skills in handling large ships, Bara sought leave to transfer to Corellian Transport Services, quickly finding a home in the realm of Vessel logistics, where he happily began piloting the YV-666 'Sacred Promise'. This promise was more than a ship, and fueled his desire to see the galaxy. Over time he was promoted to being the Executive Officer of Vessel Logistics. Soon after he was promoted to Vessel CO, where he continued to carry the banner of ship transportation. For security reasons as an indirect result of the Shadow Vigo arrests, Bara become pilot of the YV-666 'Paramount'.
Eventually his love for his nation fueled a desire to help guide its development, and the Sullustan sought out a position as a member of the esteemed senate. Though initially defeated, he was awarded a seat as a runner-up, and served his first year in the senate. While a member of the New Republic senate, he was pivotal in creating legislation to reduce time served by 'fill-in' senators and increased the penalties for releasing confidential information to the public. He also helped discuss and form important legislation including the 'Bond Bill' to increase fair trial methods for members of the New Republic.
