As you view through the top of the large room, or even small hall, you look down into the Senate chambers below.
Holovid cameras are set all around the base of this viewing area, and clearly move to record any speaker regardless of position in the room.
There are terminals where the proceedings of previous Senate meetings can be reviewed.
An ornate inlaid round table stands in the middle of the room, with 7 high-backed seats evenly spaced around it. Each of the seats have a small terminal in front of them, with a small sign naming the occupant of the seat:
