The NRS Vanguard was the main training ship assigned to the New Republic Academy and was primarily used to train both civilian and military pilots. It has performed a number of civilian duties, its last being the deploymento of the satellite grid in the Trevi system, before ending its tour of duty as part of the Galactic Museum.
