Biography
Vonar was born a male, two meter tall, Devaronian, with red/brown skin and brown eyes. As a normal trait for most male Devaronians he was a wanderer, and as such he left Devaron when he was still in his teen ages, and joined the New Republic Military. At that time, he also qualified to be a member of the New Republic Intelligence, a job which he was proud and remained hidden for a long time.
After a couple of years, Vonar was a prominent Captain of the Starfighter Command, as well as Deputy Director of the New Republic Intelligence. He also was an instructor and manager of the New Republic academy, and a member of the New Republican Senate.
But by being at the core of the New Republican power, he started to doubt some of the decisions made by the leaders, as well as noticing some people that diverged too much power for themselves. That made him a few other high ranking officers leave the New Republic, and start a new group solely for special operations of the Galactic Alliance, working closely with the Falleen Federation and the Tresario Star Kingdom.
Not long after the start of the SpecOps, the Metamorphosis Plague hit him. Trying to not infect others with a still unknown disease, Vonar took a sabbatical year, and spent some time in clinical facilities of The Medical Circle, where it was proven that the plague had embedded itself in his DNA. After a long series of tests, the results were that the disease would continually transform him from time to time, normally as soon as he contacted new species, but it was not contagious. Additionally, the tests proved that not only his race drastically changed, but his personality constantly changed within every race change. The extent of the transformation could even change how he perceived different events, effectively changing the way he saw his own memories.
Since he was not contagious, he decided to go back into the universe, leaving the MedO facilities. But when leaving, he noticed great changes in the galaxy, especially in the political plane. His friends from SpecOps were dead or aligned with the Galactic Empire, so he decided to join once again the New Republic, and help in any way he could.
Back there, he transformed at least twice in a year. The first transformation was into a Diathim, after he had a meeting in the Republic Diplomatic Chambers with one member of that specie. The next one was into a Togorian, after Vonar landed on the planet to deliver some building materials for the new settlers nearly after the discovery of the planet.
Within the changes, came the personality shifts. When a Devaronian, Vonar was a reclused pilot, mostly doing intelligence work where he could be by himself. As a Diathim, he absorbed it's diplomatic characteristics, which were empowered by his apparence and force use. As he changed to Togorian, his belligerent characteristics surfaced, which meant he became more aggressive. As a Tynnan, he came back to a more diplomatic approach, only resorting to violence when no other option is available.
What does not change in each transformation is his understanding of the Force. He believes that one sentient directs himself to the lightside or darkside not by the skills he possesses, but by how he uses them. Therefore, he tries only to use them to good deeds, focusing on defensive and support skills.
His recent transformation is to that of a four-armed Codru-Ji.
