This ship was in service duty just for forty days. However, in those forty days ''El Toro'' can rightly be defined a battlescarred patrol ship. While in the orbit of Alderaan planet, in fact, this ship was involved in a space skirmish with a small fleet of unidentified starfighters. ''El Toro'' was ambushed, slightly damaged and crippled, and the bandits hypered out.

After the necessary repairs, the ship was sold because rumors were spread that the ship was born under an unlucky star. Taking advantage of this superstition, the museum acquired her for its collection.
